Its purpose is to implement a provincial e-learning strategy that will provide all students with access to high quality online courses and resources.

The Independent Learning Centre (ILC) is mandated by the government of Ontario as the province's designated provider of distance education and GED Testing.

Provides a wide range of distance education courses, in English and in French, for Ontario residents who want to earn secondary school diploma credits, upgrade basic skills, or study for personal development.
